Have you been BANNED? We’d love to hear why, or do you know why? TPF is notorious for not owning up to anything. Why not have a thread with names that have been banned. Our thought on this is because there isn’t a good reason as to why people are being banned. Why else can’t they have a simple thread with an answer next to each sofa banned name. They hide behind their screens and lie with every breath. So many people form friendships via tpf. So imagine when a friend is banned and you are offered no excuse other than trust us, it was deserved. What is deserved is respect for their members which they don’t have.
The Purse Forum operates on the notion as Do as I say, or you will be sofa king banned. Their attempt at being funny. Nothing about the forum is funny. The owners of the site, Megs and Vlad can’t command respect in real life, so they do the next best thing. They start a blog. They run a forum that is associated with the blog. In this forum they shit all over the members and are 100% thankless to each and every person who joins. (unless you’re an asskisser). We can’t decide how to explain everything that is wrong with that site. So, we started this blog in attempt to dissect the mentality of two very unethical people. Of course we won’t forget to mention the mods along the way. Feel free to speak your mind. You won’t be banned and while we may not like what you have to say, we’ll publish each and every post. Except SPAM!
Ever asked a question because something you feel was unfair needs to be addressed? We bet you didn’t get an answer. Did you try asking again and still no answer? Well you’re not alone. Answers from the owners or mods are only acknowledged if it suits their needs.
There are so many people who are tired of Megs/Vlad not taking ownership of their HUGE mistakes. Speedy anyone? You remember, the woman who received a fabulous brand new Louis Vuitton through their so called ROAK. Turns out the Speedy was a scammer and a lot of people were tricked. However never once did Megs/Vlad apologize to their members. Why, I’ll tell you why. They have this pompous attitude that they do no wrong and never are wrong. Stay on the forum for a little while to see for yourself.
The last point we’d like to touch on before next time is this, 200,000 plus members. Are you kidding me? Why yes I am. That number is the number of people who have registered with tpf. It could be a member with numerous ids (because who knows how many times they’ve been banned) and keep coming back. It could represent someone who no longer frequents the forum and is no longer an active id/screen name. The number of members is FAR from 200,000. It’s much MUCH less. Ever asked to have your account DELETED? Well too bad, they don’t delete accounts. Why? lol
We don’t need to tell you why, you already know. They don’t want that number of 200,000 to dwindle down to the TRUE number of members on the forum. Take a look at how many registered are at the bottom of the page. Typically it will say 1500 members (that are signed in) 3000 that are guests. Well where are all the other people that Megs/Vlad claim to have? They don’t exist. We have never seen a figure close to 100,000 online at Tpf. EVER. Hell, we’ve never even seen 10,000 online EVER.
Let’s briefly touch on some designers like Rebecca Minkoff. Once upon a time we actually loved her bags. So much so that we were going to buy a very large quantity to showcase in our store. A great designer doesn’t need to chummy up to others for business. If your product is great, it’ll speak for itself. Guess that isn’t the case with Rebecca. She is a registered member who sucks up to Megs/Vlad for business. There are others that think this may be a way to drum up sales for the designs. We just stay far far away. We’ll stick with Hermes, we don’t see them bowing down to the TPF owners. They don’t need to.
